Houndstooth is such a classic print! As I was titling this post I found myself thinking thinking that the word “Houndstooth” looks quite funny. I then proceeded to Google search the word to learn about the history of the print quickly. If you’re interested you can read this Wiki fashion article here.

It’s a quick informative half pager that has gems like this, “The smaller version of this print is referred to as puppy’s tooth.” Haha, kind of cute right?!

Anywhoo if you find a classic & chic top/blouse/coat/skirt in a houndstooth print then grab it (this is assuming you don’t already have something houndstooth in your wardrobe, or maybe you do and just want it in another form of clothing…go for it!). I say this because it will forever be in style and you can always wear it especially during fall and winter.

There are certain prints, like plaid & houndstooth, that remind me of colder months/seasons. I got really excited to bust out this coat once actual cold weather decided to start in California…so kind of only recently!

xoxo Sera 🙂
