I’m deeming this look Mermaid-esque (hence “Mermaid Vibes”) since I had slightly waved hair, threw on a white pearl headband, was basically makeup free and added gold and crystal statement accessories. This cream lace dress with its angled bottom is very boho-chic which is one of my all time favorite looks! There are many ways to nail down the boho-chic look.  From a silk kimono paired with cute shorts or a cute dress to a beaded, printed or lace maxi dress to crop tops…a bohemian look can be achieved quite easily. But what makes an outfit boho-chic and not just “bohemian” is how you accessorize. To achieve the boho-chic aesthetic it’s usually a good idea to layer on several necklaces and bracelets/bangles as well as wear multiple rings. Or you can go for several key statement pieces instead and opt out of lots of layering. Both ways work. Then add cute footwear, a pair of over sized sunglasses and a neutral pretty lipstick (or gloss).  The last piece to this look is something that can go on your head. Whether it’s a headband, flower crown or floppy hat some sort of headpiece is the icing of this boho-chic style cake!
