Versatile sweaters are one of the best things ever! You can throw one on over a pair of shorts when the weather is nice, layer underneath and over when it’s cold out, pair over pants for an easy don’t have to think outfit, or really style it up to look more glam and edgy with the right accessories! I wore this outfit to a wonderful dinner thrown for me by my friends/co-workers and wanted to be semi-casual, comfy and chic! I love this sweater from J.Crew because it’s colorful (good for both fall & spring) and has such pretty details like the asymmetrical cut, little slits on the bottom of each side and changes from navy & fuschia stripes on the front & sleeves to a solid lilac color on the back. It’s a really soft merino wool sweater and right now it’s on sale!!! I styled my sweater with a pair of awesome black coated skinny jeans from Hudson to give it a little edge and then added neutral leather heels with gold metallic pointy fronts, gold jewelry and last but not least my classic Chanel handbag!

p.s. this sweater also comes in 2 other color options…the fuschia/navy/lilac is obviously my favorite (since it’s the one I bought!) but I also really like the grey/white/light blue one as well 🙂
