“Here comes the sun (doo doo doo doo)
Here comes the sun, and I say
It’s all right”

Ah yes nothing like listening to a happy song to put you in a good mood, especially if said song happens to be a Beatles classic! I’m a big Beatles fan so the title of this post was so easy because of the bright cheery color of my head scarf! It may not look super bright in pictures but in person let me tell you it is BRIGHT yellow! And I love it! One of my very best friends gave me this fun little head accessory as a gift in college. I’m usually no fuss when it comes to my hair but do enjoy good head/hair accessories! My inspiration for the look of this outfit was old Hollywood glamour…think Liz Taylor in a pin-striped bikini and a silk head scarf, but I also wanted to keep my look modern and fresh. So I paired my head scarf with an awesome silk screen print Rag & Bone summery dress along with leopard cut out wedges by Sam Edelman, added a beautiful blue two tone necklace given to me as a gift from my amazing sister, threw in a pop of hot pink on my lips (I really wanted a very colorful outfit) and then put on my cat eye sunnies. Old Hollywood casual glamour in a chic modern way! I was set to go out and enjoy the sunny summer weather before Fall is officially here! Who’s ready for sweater weather? It’ll be Fall (technically anyways)  next week…eeeek how quickly time flies & seasons change!
